Risks with non compliance in waste management

Cutting corners usually involves opting for cheaper waste collections, or carriers who don’t properly recycle hazardous waste. All of our processes and collections are tracked, traceable, and fully compliant. 

We hold all necessary environmental licenses and exemptions to ensure compliance with all current waste regulations. These include:

  • Waste Carriers License
  • EA Storage Permissions
  • Duty of Care & WTNs (Waste Transfer Notes) provided on all collections
  • WEEE compliant (waste electrical  & electronic equipment recycling)
  • Hazardous waste legislation compliant – Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes provided

Safety

Compliance is required in many areas of our business. We have multiple accreditations for Site Safety in Procurement (SSIP) including:

  • Constructionline
  • CHAS

We have risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance in all aspects of our work. From our standard waste collections, to large one off  jobs.  We create new RAMS for any job with different or new risks.

We have RAMS for Safe loading, vehicle falls, vehicle manoeuvring, slips trips and falls, manual handling, and many more.  

Fleet maintenance

Legal compliance is a minimum requirement for us. We also value responsible fleet management. This ensures more than just operational compliance, but also environmental efficiency and safety standards.

Because of this, we provide training for all drivers. Our environmental impact and Co2 emissions are measured and we strive to be continuously improving. We have:

Quality standards

Reporting

Waste reporting is provided as standard with our commercial services. Because of this, many of our clients use us for SKA or BREEAM compliant projects. With our custom software we tailor reports to suit our clients. Please do ask if you have specific requirements.

Our clients require a fully compliant waste management supplier as a minimum. However we add value by going above and beyond standard requirements.

On arrival, the two guys were polite and courteous, and had the truck loaded in no time at all. The 2-hour collection slot is especially useful for a busy office. Great service, and competitive pricing – which is why we always return to you whenever we need a waste clearance.
